We are looking for adults with moderate-to-severe acne to take part in a clinical research study. The purpose of this study is to see if an investigational medication is safe and effective for acne. The study medication is an oral medicine that may reduce the inflammation associated with acne.

Acne is a common skin condition that happens when oil and dead skin cells clog the skin's pores. Symptoms of acne includes whiteheads, blackheads, and inflamed bumps or pimples which can occur on the face and back.

This study takes place at the Center For Dermatology in Fremont. Board Certified Dermatologists evaluate and care for all research participants. You will receive study medication and study evaluations at no cost, and compensation for your time may be available.

Your participation in this study will last about 5 months and with 8 study visits to the study center.

Other eligibility criteria will be determined during the initial clinic visit.

Who CANNOT Participate: - Pregnant or planning a pregnancy

You will receive a total of up to $520 if you complete all study visits.
