The purpose of the clinical research study is to see if an investigational medication is safe and effective for moderate to severe eczema/atopic dermatitis. The clinical research study medication is a lotion applied directly to your moderate to severe eczema.

Eczema, also known as Atopic Dermatitis, is a common skin condition that often affects people with a family history of allergies. It is characterized by dry, red, itchy, cracked or inflamed skin.

This clinical research study is conducted at the Center For Dermatology. Board Certified Dermatologists evaluate and care for all research participants. You will receive all study medication, or placebo (no medication) and study evaluations at no cost, and compensation for your time may be available.
This study requires

Your participation in this clinical research study takes approximately 10 weeks. Additionally, there may be a screening period before starting the clinical study. You will be asked to come to the study clinic for 7 scheduled visits during the clinical study.

You will be randomly assigned by chance (like the flip of a coin) to one of two study groups. One study group will apply the investigational lotion and the other group will apply a placebo (an inactive substance in the same form as the study medication).

Who can participate
  • Children and Adults 2 years and older
  • Have moderate to severe eczema

Other eligibility criteria will be determined during the initial clinic visit.

Who CANNOT Participate:

  • Pregnant or planning a pregnancy
You may receive up to $525.00 for your participation.
Study duration and period
The study takes approximately 10 weeks with 7 study visits.
